CSW Summit Arctic Circle

Take place in partnership with Lapland Vuollerim Welcomes You

Travel to the Arctic Circle with Crowdsourcing Week in the exotic remoteness of Swedish Lapland. Here a 2-day CSW Summit will take place in partnership with Lapland Vuollerim Welcomes You, in a program focused on local crowd movements and innovative businesses for the common good on the cusp of global impact.

In the Vuollerim village there are several living examples of community-based businesses that reinvest 100% of the profit from its businesses back into the village and the local economy. During the summit we will meet with some of these community-based businesses who are stakeholders in their own futures.

The summit will be an interactive live-case study of learnings and experiences from what builds sustainable collaborative ground in new ventures. Participants will explore, share and deepen understandings on keys for design of more sustainable crowdsourcing-based processes in development of businesses and communities. What are the main success factors and keys for establishing businesses and social capital? What are the main challenges for further local development? How can we exchange learnings with others around the planet working with issues related to sustainable local development and open innovation?
